The range of gesso panels on the market today range from glassy smooth to very textured. Jack Richeson & Co. spent two years in the development of their Gesso Panels, resulting in a strong warp-resistant, tempered panel. These panels are coated with a high quality acrylic gesso using a two coat waterfall system for the perfect lightly toothy finished sureface. This surface will not separate from the panel but bonds perfectly, making it the perfect panel for all levels of painters - professional, as well as students. Cradled panels are constructed from baltic birch with precision mitered corners. The gessoed panel is secured to the cradle with commercial grade glues, eliminating separation of panel from the cradle.
