Winsor & Newton Classic Cotton Canvas is a versatile, medium texture surface for painting in oils and acrylics. Each canvas is made from the finest grade cloth, hand-stretched for outstanding tension and back-stapled with expertly tailored corners. Primed with a highly pigmented acrylic gesso, the acid-free, archival canvas responds beautifully to every brushstroke. Balanced absorbency and tooth provide improved adhesion and uncompromised color vitality. Pre-primed, the cotton canvas weighs 7 oz. Its primed weight is 12.3 oz. Frames are made of kiln-dried fir and paulownia wood. The stretcher bars are rigorously tested for warp-resistance. Deep Edge (1-3/8") profile.
